Precast box units are recommended when circular or elliptical concrete pipe cannot provide adequate flow capacity. They are ideal for use in areas where headroom restrictions exist so that the flow must be shallow and wide. They can be used for numerous purposes including culverting of water courses and cattle underpasses.

Precast box culverts are superior to in-situ boxes.  They are advantageous in that they can be rapidly and easily installed, with a much shorter road closure time.

Moore Concrete’s box culverts are made to site specific requirements. The units have a rebated jointing system and can be sealed if necessary.
